The Site is an advertising and consumer-education service that publishes general information about Illinois SR-22 auto-insurance filings and related topics. SR22AutoIns.com is not an insurance agent, insurance broker, insurance producer, or insurance carrier, is not licensed to sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance in Illinois or any other jurisdiction, and does not quote, bind, issue, underwrite, or file insurance policies or SR-22 certificates.

Content on the Site is general information only. It is not insurance advice, legal advice, tax advice, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed insurance producer, licensed attorney, or other qualified professional. You are solely responsible for your decisions.

Calling the telephone number displayed on the Site does not guarantee that you will be connected to any insurance agent, broker, or carrier, that a quote will be offered, that any policy will be issued or approved, that an SR-22 certificate will be filed on your behalf, or that your driving privileges will be reinstated. Availability, eligibility, coverage, premiums, and SR-22 filing are determined solely by the insurer and applicable Illinois law.

Calls placed to the telephone number on the Site may be routed to third-party licensed insurance agents, brokers, or carriers that participate in our advertising program. You are solely responsible for independently verifying that any such third party holds a current, valid Illinois insurance license through the Illinois Department of Insurance at idoi.illinois.gov and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners at naic.org.

SR22AutoIns.com makes no representation or warranty regarding the licensure, qualifications, conduct, pricing, or performance of any third party, and is not responsible or liable for any act or omission of any third party, including any statement, quote, policy, filing, disclosure, marketing communication, or follow-up contact.

SR22AutoIns.com is compensated on a per-call basis by participating advertisers when calls are connected. This material connection may influence which third parties are featured on the Site, the order in which they appear, and which calls are routed to which participant. We do not represent all insurers, agents, or brokers licensed in Illinois. Participating third parties do not represent all products available in the Illinois market. You may be able to obtain the same or better coverage elsewhere.

The telephone number displayed on the Site is a number you choose to call. Calls placed to that number are initiated by you. Calls may be recorded or monitored by SR22AutoIns.com, our service providers, and/or the receiving third party for quality assurance, training, compliance, and call-attribution purposes. Illinois generally requires the consent of all parties to record a private conversation under the Illinois Eavesdropping Act, 720 ILCS 5/14-2. By placing a call to the number displayed on the Site, you consent to such recording and monitoring. If you do not consent, do not call.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, layouts, and code, is owned by or licensed to SR22AutoIns.com and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for personal, non-commercial use of the Site, no content may be copied, modified, distributed, sold, or otherwise exploited without our prior written consent.

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, index, or otherwise systematically access the Site by automated means beyond commonly accepted search-engine or AI-assistant crawlers acting in accordance with our robots.txt;

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SR22AutoIns.com and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the Site, any content on the Site, any call placed to the number on the Site, or any act or omission of any third party.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SR22AutoIns.com and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of any right of a third party.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY — THIS SECTION AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL.

Except as set out below, you and SR22AutoIns.com agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site (a “Dispute”) will be resolved exclusively by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and not in court. The arbitration will be conducted in Cook County, Illinois, or by videoconference. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class-action and jury-trial waiver. You and SR22AutoIns.com each waive any right to a jury trial and any right to bring or participate in a class action, consolidated action, or representative action. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party’s individual claim.

30-day opt-out. You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to SR22AutoIns.com through our contact form within 30 days of the date you first accept these Terms. Include your full name and a clear statement that you are opting out of the SR22AutoIns.com arbitration agreement. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms.

Small-claims carve-out. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court if the claim qualifies and stays in that court.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration section above, the exclusive venue for any judicial proceeding will be the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last changed. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
